Lindsey Stirling's unconventional combination of classical violin and dubstep beats coupled with a ballet-type dancing style has garnered more than 3.5 million subscribers and counting on her YouTube channel, Lindseystomp. Indeed the outre performance artist has paved her own way, working with director/cinematographer Devin Graham to produce her series of uniquely styled videos. She's also independently released an eponymous debut via her own Lindseystomp label. That collection not only took the top spot on Billboard's Dance/Electronic Albums chart, but also earned gold certification in three European nations. On her first tour Stirling hit more than 120 markets worldwide, including concerts in packed houses across North America. The California native was dubbed the "hip hop violinist" when she performed for Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne, and Howie Mandel on season five of "America's Got Talent", and although they didn't grant her a golden ticket to the next round she's made a name and career for herself by combining classical music with EDM for legions of adoring fans.
