In February 2016, Rob Thomas makes a very welcome return down-under for a national headline tour.
“I’ll be playing some of the new stuff, some of the old stuff, a little bit of everything, it’s pretty exciting…” said Thomas of The Great Unknown World Tour.
Joining Rob Thomas on all dates will be special guest Pete Murray, with Darren Middleton of Powderfinger fame appearing at the three winery shows.
Following Matchbox Twenty's diamond-certified 1996 debut album Yourself or Someone Like You, Rob Thomas put his newfound superstardom to good use, collaborating with Santana on 1999's "Smooth," which took home the Grammy for Song of the Year. In 2005, Thomas made his solo debut with ...Something to Be, which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and landed an impressive five singles on the charts. After reuniting with Matchbox Twenty in 2007 for a retrospective album and tour, Thomas released his 2009 sophomore album Cradlesong, kicking off a 70-stop international tour. Thomas continues to perform both solo and with Matchbox Twenty, with a North American solo tour in the works for 2014.
