Little Georgia & Ryan Bingham

LITTLE GEORGIA will join Grammy and Academy Award winning troubadour RYAN BINGHAM on his forthcoming Australian tour dates.

At the heart of indie/alt country duo Little Georgia is a true friendship. After several years on the road touring together as part of different projects, Ashleigh Mannix and Justin Carter joined forces and launched their new project in front of excited audiences at the 2015 Tamworth Country Music Festival.

Spending the last year on the road touring between Australia and North America including a performance at Americana Fest in Nashville, the duo managed to squeeze in time to record their debut album Bootleg. Recorded in a farmhouse in South-West Victoria and released earlier this year, Bootleg is a collection of songs captured live to tape that showcase the band’s compelling lyrics and beautiful harmonies

Little Georgia will open for Ryan Bingham on all Australian shows.

The Texan singer-songwriter is best known for his Grammy and Academy Award winning theme song ‘The Weary Kind’ – a collaboration with veteran music producer T Bone Burnett for the movie Crazy Heart.

Last here in 2014, Ryan Bingham will return to our shores and once more captivate audiences with tracks off his critically acclaimed 2015 release Fear and Saturday Night.

Bingham, in an intimate semi-acoustic mode, will kick things off Friday April 22 at Sydney’s iconic Basement before visiting the east coast of Australia, ending in Brisbane Saturday, April 30.

Don’t miss the chance to experience one of Americana’s finest poets live this April.
