ABOUT THE ARTIST
Moses Sumney was raised between Ghana and California, and through his multi-faceted art, explores his experiences as an outsider producing a blended sound of acoustic soul, art rock, jazz, orchestral pop and cinematic vocals. Since releasing his debut 4-track cassette EP in 2014, Sumney has gone on to collaborate with Sufjan Stevens, James Blake, Beck, Solange and many more household names.
Sumney’s 2020 double album græ won the singer-songwriter comparison from critics of his sprawling voice to the heights of Prince, ANOHNI, Bjork and Thom Yorke and much praise for his ability to create a raw, emotional connection with listeners.
