Charlie Jeer is a 23-year-old artist, producer, songwriter and saxophonist from Kent who is rapidly becoming one of the UK's most exciting new musical exports. Blending hypnotic saxophone melodies, sultry jazz textures and deep house rhythms, Jeer has carved out a distinctive lane of his own, earning a reputation as one of the leading voices in the emerging jazz-house movement.
Despite only launching his artist project in 2023, Jeer has experienced a meteoric rise. Breakthrough single "Her Eyes" aptly introduced listeners to his sound, while a string of viral releases has helped him amass over 100 million streams across DSPs, quickly building him a global audience. Alongside a rapidly growing social presence of more than 620,000 TikTok followers, he has become one of the fastest-growing independent artists in the UK.
Music has been central to Jeer's life from an early age. Classically trained, he completed his Grade 8 saxophone qualification before taking his GCSEs, developing a strong technical foundation. Charlie's musical outlook later evolved under the mentorship of local Kent saxophonist Tony Rico, who encouraged him to move beyond technique and learn to truly "feel" the music, shaping the emotive and improvisational qualities that define his work today.
Before music became his full-time focus, Jeer's path was far from conventional. Alongside completing a degree in Economics, he worked as a boxer, a McDonald's security guard and a model—experiences that have contributed to the grounded perspective and work ethic underpinning his rapid ascent.
His unique sound has earned support from COLORS, Man About Town, GQ, Hunger, Notion and Spotify, alongside major playlist support including New Music Friday UK, Lowkey, Just Dropped, Gone Abroad and Cocoa Butter. He has also secured placements across Amazon Music's +44 R&B and Apple Music's New In Dance playlists.
Industry heavyweights including Calvin Harris, Jamie Jones, Black Coffee, Kilimanjaro, Songer, Bloody Civilian, RUZE and Laurence Guy have all shown support for Jeer's music, further cementing his status as one of the UK's most promising breakthrough artists.
Following the release of his debut EP, Everything Is Temporary, at the end of 2025, Jeer's momentum has continued to accelerate. Having collaborated with British R&B star Mahalia, sold out his headline show at Night Tales Loft in London, sold over 650 tickets for his Istanbul headline performance, and recently announced his debut European tour, taking him across 10 cities throughout the continent.
