Parking & Transport 

  • BEC has accessible parking close to the dedicated entry points permit required. 

  • Nearest train station: Boondall Shorncliffe Line fully accessible with lifts and ramps. 

  • Drop-off points near entrances, please ask parking staff on arrival. 

 

Hidden Disabilities Sunflower 

Brisbane Entertainment Centre supports the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program.  

  • For information, assistance, or additional Sunflower Lanyards, visit Administration on Level 1.

Accessible parking can be pre-booked via Ticketek when purchasing tickets.

  • Note: Accessible parking bays are limited and located in front of John Cain Arena on Olympic Boulevard. 

 

Hidden Disabilities Sunflower

Rod Laver Arena is a Sunflower-friendly venue. Staff are trained to recognise the symbol and assist guests with non-visible disabilities. 

 

Sensory & Quiet Rooms 
 

Although there is no dedicated Sensory Room at Rod Laver Arena, the venue has partnered with KultureCity to assist guests with sensory needs. 

  • Free sensory bags and lap pads are available at the Information Desk at Gate 4. 

  • Download the KultureCity app for more venue support. 

  • For help, speak to any staff member or visit the Gate 4 Information Desk.

  • The space offers quiet lighting, fidget toys, and comfortable seating for use during the event.
