Terms and Conditions – Britt & Vic, Win a Double Pass Instagram Competition

1. The promoter is Live Nation Australia Pty Ltd (“our”, “us” and “we”). Our registered office is at Level 2, 11 Newton St, Cremorne, Victoria 3121 and our ABN is 69 156 286 341.
2. The competition is open to residents of the Australia and New Zealand who have an Instagram account except employees of Live Nation Australia and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
4. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
5. The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows:
Entry is submitted by liking a competition post, following @livenationoznz and writing the best caption for photo in the post.
6. Competition opens at 9AM AEDT on Monday 18th Feb 2019 and closes on the 7th March 11.59PM AEDT.
7. All valid entries received during the Promotion Period will be reviewed by a panel of judges from the Promoter.  This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner.  Each entry will be individually judged based on originality and creativity.
8. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
9. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
10.  The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
11.  The prize is as follows: One of three double passes to the winners choice of Live Nation events where tickets are available.
12.  The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
13.  Winners will be chosen each week during the competition period and announced on Instagram each Friday.
14.  The winner will be notified by DM on Instagram. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
15.  The promoter will notify the winner when and how the prize can be collected.
16.  Each entrant acknowledges that this promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram. In participating in this promotion entrants are providing information to the Promoter and not to Instagram. To the extent permitted by law, each entrant releases Instagram from any and all liability in relation to this promotion.

Conditions of Entry – Win a money can’t buy experience to watch Nickelback from an exclusive VIP area, Side of Stage.

Instructions, prizes and information on how to enter form part of these conditions of entry. By entering into or participating in the competition, entrants accept these conditions of entry.

The competition begins at 7AM (Melbourne time) on Tuesday 5th February and concludes at 11.59pm(Melbourne time) on Monday 11 February 2019.

Entry is open to all residents of Australia, excluding employees of the Promoter and Live Nation, their immediate families or any organisation, contractor or agent associated with the competition. Persons under 18 years of age must obtain the prior permission of a parent or legal guardian to enter the competition.  For the avoidance of doubt, any other age restrictions notified by the Promoter as part of the instructions or information on how to enter the competition apply to restrict entry into, or participation in, the competition. 

The prize is money can’t buy access to a VIP side of stage area at the Nickleback concert. There will be one winner in one city. Total prize is valued at $500. The prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. The Promoter reserves the right to change the prize to one of equal or greater value at any time if the prize becomes unavailable.

To enter, purchase any Nickelback ticket through Ticketek during the promotion period.  The winner(s) will be the first entry drawn at random from all valid competition entries received.

The draw will take place at 10am (Melbourne time) on Tuesday 12th February 2019 at Level 2, 11 Newton St, Cremorne.

The winner(s) will be notified by email. If the winner(s) cannot take the prize as stipulated or if it is, then the entry will be forfeited. Subject to applicable law, the Promoter may conduct such further draws as are necessary in order to distribute any unclaimed prizes.  If, for any reason whatsoever (including but not limited to the interruption, cancellation or postponement of an event or a change in the personal circumstances of the winner), a winner is not able to use a ticket issued as a prize, the winner will not be entitled to any cash or alternative tickets in lieu of that prize.

All determinations of the Promoter in connection with the competition are made at its absolute discretion and are final.  The Promoter will not enter into correspondence or discussions with any entrant regarding the result of the competition or any other decision of the Promoter in connection with the competition.

The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in, or downloading of any materials in connection with, the competition.

If for any reason the competition is not capable of running as planned including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to cancel, modify or suspend the competition (subject to applicable laws).

22.  The promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in, or downloading of any materials in connection with, the competition.

23.  If for any reason the competition is not capable of running as planned including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the competition, the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to cancel, modify or suspend the competition (subject to applicable laws).

24.  Entrants personal information will be handled by the promoter in accordance with the promoter’s Privacy Policy (available at livenation.com.au).  Any personal information collected will be used by the promoter for the purpose of conducting the competition (including, without limitation, for the purpose of issuing prizes to winners). Personal information may be disclosed to organisations, contractors and agents associated with the competition (including but not limited to the person or organisation providing the prize). If an entrant does not provide the personal information requested, the entrant will not be able to enter into, or participate in, the competition or receive a prize if that entrant is a winner.

Terms and Conditions – Guess the Artist

  1. The promoter is Live Nation Australia Pty Ltd (“our”, “us” and “we”). Our registered office is at Level 2, 11 Newton St, Cremorne, Victoria 3121 and our ABN is 69 156 286 341.
  2. The competition is open to residents of Australia who have a Facebook account except employees of Live Nation Australia and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition. Entry is open to persons aged 16 years and over.
  3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
  4. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  5. The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows:
    Entry is submitted by commenting on the competition post on Facebook identifying the artist shown in the image. The first person to correctly identify the artist will be selected as the winner.
  6. Competition entry period is Wednesday 10th October 7.00AM AEDT, closing 11.59PM Wednesday 10th October 2018 AEST.
  7. All valid entries received during the Promotion Period will be reviewed by a panel of judges from the Promoter.  This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner.
  8. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
  9. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.

10.  The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

11.  The prize is as follows:

  • Two tickets to a Live Nation show of the winner’s choosing in Australia. The show must take place in 2018 and will be subject to availability. Show must be announced and/or on-sale at the time of the promotion.

12.  Tickets are not transferable, re-routable or redeemable for cash or other goods or services. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

13.  Accommodation, meals, travel insurance, taxes, transfers, transport to and from departure ports and all other travel documentation and costs are the responsibility of the winner. 

14.  In consideration for the promoter awarding the prize to the winner, the winner hereby permits the winner’s image and/or voice, as recorded, photographed or filmed during the winner’s participation in the prize to appear in connection with advertising or marketing thereof, in any media whatsoever throughout the world and the winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use.

15.  In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize.

16.  The winner will be chosen and notified by email and/or DM on Facebook by Friday 12th October. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 7 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

17.  The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected.

18.  Each entrant acknowledges that this promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Instagram. In participating in this promotion entrants are providing information to the Promoter and not to Facebook or Instagram. To the extent permitted by law, each entrant releases Facebook and Instagram from any and all liability in relation to this promotion.

19.  The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

20.  The promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and the identification of entrants. The promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these conditions of entry.

21.  The promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained relating to the prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including, without limitation, the Australian Consumer Law).
