SENSORY & QUIET ROOMS

Rod Laver Arena has partnered with Kulture City to enhance their ability to assist and accommodate guests with sensory needs.

Unfortunately, a dedicated sensory room is not yet available at Rod Laver Arena.

Sensory bags containing special KCVIP badges, fidget tools, noise-cancelling headphones, and other resources, as well as Writable Weighted Lap Pads, are available for loan (at no cost) via our Information Desk at Gate 4. You can also download the KultureCity app for further assistance with your visit to Rod Laver Arena.  

PARKING

Accessible parking must be pre-booked via Ticketek and can be secured online when you purchase your ticket. If this option is not available for your event, please contact Ticketek’s Accessible Bookings Hotline on (03) 9286 1208. You can also submit an online contact request here. Parking on-site is limited, and we strongly recommend booking in advance.  Please note, there are a limited number of accessible parking bays located in front of John Cain Arena on Olympic Boulevard.

SENSORY & QUIET ROOMS

Qudos Bank Aren has a sensory room! When you arrive at the Arena for your event, make your way to the Information Desk located in the Grand Foyer (Entry A) where you can request to be assisted by the Sensory and Accessibility Supervisor. They will be available to answer any of your questions during your visit to Qudos Bank Arena and they will show you to our specially designed Sensory Room, on Level 1 outside Door 21 (near Lift 7). 

You are welcome to use this space whenever you like throughout your visit. Events can be loud and include complex stage lighting effects including strobe and lasers, our Sensory Room is a quieter and more secure environment with low lighting, comfortable seating and fidget toys (spinners and popping fidgets) for our patrons to use. 

PARKING

Yes, Qudos Bank Arena has accessible parking options. Pre-booked mobility parking bays are available in the P1 car park, which is adjacent to the arena, with 179 designated spaces. Additional accessible parking can be found in the P2 car park, with 10 spaces. It's recommended to pre-book parking, especially for larger events, to guarantee a space. Book Here
